However, evolving consumer needs for sustainability, personalization, and inclusivity, coupled with increasing competition, necessitate leveraging advanced MIS solutions. The research examines the history of the beauty/cosmetics industry, L’Oréal’s history, target market, and competition through Porter’s Five Forces. Survey insights that reveal customer priorities for digital experiences, AI-driven personalization, and sustainability. Recommendations highlight MIS applications in customer relationship management, supply chain optimization, and predictive analytics to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
